06/25/2008 12:51 AM Alert

Friday and Saturday June 20th and 21st turned out to be semi slow days on the Lake with only 4 limits of perch in the 2 days, with 3 guys fishing each day.  Sunday, Monday and Tuesday were the best days, Spent Sunday morning looking around for the Perch school and located them in 62 feet of water about 6.5 miles off shore, brought in 3 limits on Sunday, 3 limits on Monday, and 4 limits on Tuesday June 25th all from the same area. total of 10 limits of perch with 300 perch caught in the 3 days. Monday June 24th the Perch bite was hot with 3 limits being caught in 2 hours and 20 minutes. Tuesday we had 4 foot waves coming straight out of the North that made for a long ride out, bite was rather slow and took 4 1/2 hours to catch the 120 fish limit.

Tight lines and good fishing to you.

I still find each day too short for all the thoughts I want to think, all the walks I want to take, all the books I want to read, and all the friends I want to see.

Sounds like a good time Ray. I just started riding street bikes with a guy that has a big boat docked on Erie somewhere. We are going to ride bike there one of these days and do some fishing. Maybe even stay on the boat for the night. If we do, I will try to contact you and see if you want to meet.

we finished up the week of fishing on Erie with 790 Perch for the week, this was 6 days of fishing so it was a good week had a few rough days on the water with waves being in the 4 foot range but all in all was a great week with my friends.

Need tohead back up and put some more in the freezer before winter, those fish fries  are sure nice when the snow is flying and everyone is enjoying the summer catch and talking about the fish stories. just might have a fish fry this summer some time and invite a few friends over.
