The Spring ride at the Hatfield McCoy trails was another huge success. we had 21 riders booked to go but only 17 were able to make the ride due to some unforseen problems. Friday we rode the Rock House /Browning fork trails system we noticed some changes here and they have added an extreme black trail recomended for only the best riders, so that left me out... a good time was had by all and many mud holes were found and explored by a few. Saturday we headed for Buffalo mountain in the town of Delbarton and rode over to matewan had luch at Wingos then headed over into Kentucky to buy gas for the return trip, the return trip was an exciting one with a few things happening along the way. we had a few machines over heat because of the mud and water crossings and we had a Rhino attempt a mud hole that was rather deep and decided to back out of it before the driver went swimming, I leave the owner of the Rhino up to your imagination... After this attemp was made we had a new but experienced rider decided he and his Honda Foreman could possibly make this crossing and soon found himself with only the handle bars sticking out of the water muck and goo the bummer was he drowned out and had to be pulled from the mud hole. upon doing this we decided on a new nickname for him and his machine Captain Duggie and the Yellow Submarine.

Sunday we headed over to Pinnacle creek and had a good time, found a few exciting mud holes where we had a few riders suddenly finding them selves in deep water and their boots full of water also, Including me and the Rhino I even had to drain the belt case because it was full of water and mud. we enjoyed some great scenery and companionship with our riders. We want to thank our 2 newest members and riders for coming along Dave and Doug from our Erie Chapter. We had a safe and fun weekend.

Special thanks agian goes out to Livingoog Lodging for being a top notch host, They have always been very friendly, helpful, and again now for the 4 year in a row being a sponsor of ATV Traction Inc. Please we ask you contact Livingoods for your stays in Gilbert when riding the Hatfield McCoy trails. If they are booked and you stay someplace else please stop by and stay hellow from the club.

I still find each day too short for all the thoughts I want to think, all the walks I want to take, all the books I want to read, and all the friends I want to see.
